Cbeebies Panto – Peter Pan – REVIEW

Two weeks ago, Abbey Home Media had kindly sent me another DVD entitled Cbeebies Panto – Peter Pan, which is intended for my little ones to enjoy.   I can’t thank them enough, it’s so nice of them to do such a kind gesture.  However, I was not obliged to make a review for this one though but with their generosity plus the delight and pleasure that my two kids had while watching the DVD, I think I owe this review to them.  In fact, I felt terrible as this post is rather late.  Anyhow, it’s better late than never, isn’t it?

First off, Cbeebies Panto – Peter Pan DVD has just been out in the market since 2nd November which can now be purchased in any of their Retailers with a RRP of £7.99.

If your kids are avid fans of Cbeebies same as mine, then I assume they must be familiar with the Cbeebies stars like the hilarious Justin Fletcher and many more… whom are the casts of this Panto which was staged at The Lowry in Salford.

The Panto is a perfect combination of music, laughter and the high-flying adventure as Peter Pan and his best friend Tinker Bell visited the home of the Darling Family, which then is the start of the children’s adventure to Neverland.  The children’s journey became a disaster when the naughty Captain Hook tried to capture the child- Wendy Darling and wanted her as their Mother, so as the Lost Boys and Girls in Neverland who wanted her as their Mother too.  Despite of the chaos, it still has a happy ending as expected it to be.

Cbeebies Panto is so amusing and exciting to watch as you get to see the other side of Cbeebies stars as they got dressed and portrayed their respective roles in a special magical story.   In fact, they actually have Cbeebies Panto Collection which is also out in the market available to buy.

Overall, both my kids  and even myself were certainly well entertained watching this DVD, it’s definitely worth it.  Besides, this could also be a great idea for a kid’s Christmas socks filler as well as a fantastic DVD to watch with the rest of the family whilst enjoying the festive season.

Does your kids love watching Cbeebies too?

Have you tried watching their Cbeebies Panto yet?

  • lol that should say panto dvd (bloomin auto correct!) #KCACOLS

  • E&E loves watching Cbeebies Pantos. I really want to take them to see in real life but it is so expensive do a DVD is far more cost effective, plus it is in the comfort of your own sofa at home all snuggled up with your kids. Well – at least I have this image anyway. This sounds great and I might even buy into it! Thanks for sharing your review and linking up with me again. #FabFridayPost

I love Cbeebies Pantos too, they’re really fun to watch, isn’t it? I agree, watching it in real life would have been ideal but it’s too expensive, so a DVD will do us just fine.

  • My kids love cbeebies! We haven’t watched their panto. This dvd sounds great & very reasonably priced too #MG x

Their pantos are amazing to watch especially if your kids are familiar with Cbeebies characters.

  • Ooohhh…must check it out. I love Peter Pan and so your title caught my eye. We have not watched Cbeebies before but I think my youngest would probably enjoy it. Thanks for the review. #mg

Who doesn’t love Peter Pan?! his flying adventure is just amazing that kids would love the most.

  • We still love the Cbeebies Pantos….Even my 13 year old gets caught up in the magic of them x

  • Ahhhh my 7 year old used to love CBeebies, We’re onto CITV now though. He used to love the panto’s that would come on every Christmas too and it was great to see all the people from different shows all doing the panto together. We even went to a CBeebies show which he loved that included Justin, Andy, Nina (and the neurons) and I think it was the guy that does MrMaker. We’ve also just been to CBeebies land and will be attending again next year he loved it so much, I will be taking my 8 month old when he reaches the age of around 2, if you haven’t been I recommend it for the kids x #TheBabyFormula

I would love to bring my kids to see a cbeebies panto but it’s just a bit far from us, hopefully, they’ll do one in Scotland so we could watch too.

  • This is a brilliant review Cheryl, thank you for sharing it on #TheBabyFormula. I’ll definitely look out for it as I’m not sure we’ll actually go to the panto this year as with a 1 year old I fear she’ll just want to crawl or walk off! I’m very much looking forward to xmas now, with all this talk of Christmas and stocking fillers 🙂 Hope you can link up again next week #TheBabyFormula

I also want to bring my kids to a panto at some point because they’re already at the right age. I’m looking forward for xmas too, especially that we have bought some stuff for them already.

  • Max is a big CBeebies fan, so I think he would enjoy this! Thanks for linking up with #TriedTested

  • My daughter loves Cbeebies Pantos. When she was little she used to be glued to the TV. She knew all the programs. Now that she is a little bit older (5 yo) she is more into youtube videos and movies. A DVD like this one is always a great Christmas stocking filler as you mentioned in your post. BTW, I thought it was a very nice gesture to do this review event hough they didn’t ask you to do that. That is lovely! Thanks so much for sharing this at #KCACOLS. It would be very nice if you can join me again on Sunday!! 🙂 xx

    • ReimerandRuby

When they’re that age, they’re more interested with youtube videos and movies same with my 5 yr old boy too, although he still watched Cbeeebies sometimes every time his little sister watches it. Thanks for the lovely comment Franca!

  • I had NO idea you could get these on DVD – my little ones love watching them if we manage to catch them on TV. One for the run up to Xmas for sure! Thank you.

  • This looks fab – my boys would love it. Thanks for linking up to #justanotherlinky xx
